Travel SIM Terms

  • This agreement begins upon the activation of the Travel SIM/eSIM. By sending the activation message you are accepting, in full, the terms and conditions set out in this agreement.  

  • eSim Activation and Compatibility:

    1. The eSIM can be activated and used on compatible devices that support eSIM technology.

    2. It is your responsibility to ensure that your device is compatible with the eSIM you are purchasing. 

    3. Vodafone Cook Islands reserves the right to modify the list of compatible devices on our website at any time.

    4. It is your responsibility to check your device is not network locked to another service provider.

  • Important: Please note that we do not offer refunds for cases in which customers are unaware of their phone's eSIM compatibility or for devices that are network locked to another service provider. We highly recommend that customers consult their phone brand website or reach out to us for professional consultation to confirm eSIM compatibility with their phone model before proceeding with their purchase.

  • Travel SIM/eSIM Plans are valid for a limited time only and available upon purchase.

  • Travel SIM/eSIM plans include allocated TXTs, Minutes and Data.

  • Minutes and TXTs are to standard local numbers on the Vodafone Cook Islands network only. International Minutes and TXTs are to standard numbers in specified international destinations. Both local and international Minutes and TXTs are for personal use only. Excludes special numbers (MMS/PXT/Short codes) 
  • Casual TXT rates to international destinations costs 30c per TXT and 20c to local and national destinations.

  • Casual calling minutes cost 99c per minute to local and international destinations.

  • Casual data rates cost 20c per Megabyte (MB).

  • Vodafone is required to capture customer registration details under the new Telecommunications act. For Travel SIM/eSIM customers we will require proof of identification in the form of a valid passport or drivers license. 

  • Travel SIM/eSIM plans do not AUTO RENEW and cannot be repurchased. If you run out of your travel sim plan allocation of minutes, TXTs and data you can either choose to purchase additional data or minutes Add-Ons or casual rates will apply. 

  • Travel SIM/eSIM plans are 4G enabled. 4G is not available everywhere. 

  • You cannot purchase offers or Add-Ons from other Prepay Plans or promotions on a Travel SIM/eSIM plan. 

  • After your Travel SIM/eSIM plan expires and you wish to continue using services with Vodafone Cook Islands, you will be required to purchase a new Travel SIM/eSIM plan. 

  • If you change plans and the Travel SIM/eSIM plan has not expired, any remaining Minutes, TXTs and Data will not be transferred. 

  • Vodafone Fair Use Policy and Prepay Mobile Terms and Conditions Apply.

  • Travel SIM/eSIM plan purchases are non-refundable. 

  • In this agreement “Vodafone Cook Islands” means Telecom Cook Islands Ltd t/a Vodafone Cook Islands. ‘SIM’ means subscriber identity module. ‘Mobile device’ means the mobile device that you use to access the services provided by the Travel SIM/eSIM.
